Saturday, October 3, 2020 from 9.30 to 13.00 the award ceremony of the VII edition of the International Prize of Sacred Architecture 2020 that will take place this year in streaming on the Foundation YouTube channel Frate Sole and with 3 professional training credits for engineers and architects on zoom webinar.
This year's Oscar of sacred architecture will go to Munich-based Meck Architekten for the church dedicated to Blessed Rupert Mayer (Andreas Meck †, Axel Frühauf) built in the town of Poing, in the district of Munich, Germany. The architect Axel Frühauf will receive the award.
In the ceremony, the Studio Dellekamp/Schleich+Agendarq (Derek Dellekamp, Jachen Schleich and Camilo Restrepo - Mexico/Colombia) will be awarded the Second Prize for the realization of the Señor de Tula Shrine in Jojutla de Juarez, Morelos, Mexico.
