TheOscar for sacred architecture went to Studio Meck Architekten of Munich for the church dedicated to the Blessed Rupert Mayer (Andreas Meck †, Axel Frühauf) built in the town of Poing, in the district of Munich, Germany. The architect Axel Frühauf will receive the award.
The Second Prize went to Studio Dellekamp/Schleich+Agendarq (Derek Dellekamp, Jachen Schleich and Camilo Restrepo - Mexico/Colombia) for the construction of the Señor de Tula Sanctuary in Jojutla de Juarez, Morelos, Mexico.
