The International Prize for Sacred Architecture has been active for 25 years and is addressed to designers who have built a church in the last decade within the Christian confessions. It is a four-yearly competition that photographs the state of the art of Christian religious architecture at an international level.
The winner receives the "Ciel d'Oro", a sculpture designed by Fr. CostantinoRuggeri, and a cash reward. The total amount of the International Prize of Sacred Architecture 2020 is 30.000,00 €.
The projects will be part of the FoundationFrateSole's archive, and will allow the creation of a catalogue and an exhibition of the VII edition of the Prize.
The International Prize of Sacred Architecture "FrateSole " is awarded every four years in October, near the feast of St. Francis of Assisi.
