Award "Costantino Ruggeri"
Master's thesis on the design of a new sacred architecture
The "Costantino Ruggeri " Thesis Award in Sacred Architecture concerns a scholarship of 4,500 euros that will be awarded to a master's thesis on the subject of designing a new church. The scholarship will go toward the cost of an internship at an international architectural firm.

The Award aims to stimulate from the formative period the interest and research of young people in the field of worship architecture, so that they develop the sacred space as a place of spiritual exaltation, in harmony with the acquired communal conception of liturgical action.
The Award is intended for Architecture or Engineering gradu ates in International Faculties who have obtained their master's degree, individually or as a group, between January 1, 2020 and April 15, 2023.
Documentation must be submitted by May 15, 2023.
The documentation submitted by the candidates (then kept in the Foundation's archives) will be evaluated by a Selection Committee, formed by the members of the Foundation's Scientific Committee Frate Sole , Francesco Dal Co, Giorgio Della Longa, Esteban Fernandez Cobian, Don Luca Franceschini, Luigi Leoni, Caterina Parrello, Walter Zahner, the President of the Order of Architects, P.P.C. of the Province of Pavia Gianluca Perinotto and the President of ANCE Pavia, Alberto Righini.
By July 15, 2021, the Foundation Frate Sole will publish on its website www.fondazionefratesole.org the results of the competition.
The 'Costantino Ruggeri ' Prize follows in the footsteps of the European Prize for Sacred Architecture (active from 2005 to 2021) aimed at students from European universities who were developing a project for a new church, at the stage of their Bachelor's, Master's, Doctoral theses.
